COMMENTS & OBSERVATIONS
David on this intertidal search in the rock pools at the wave platform below Alexandra Headland for 110 minutes. The low tide of 0.31 m occurred at 15:59. Conditions were sunny with a light NE sea breeze and low wave action.
The rock pooling certainly took a toll on the back, hips, knees and ankles. Need to get out and do more when conditions are suitable to keep all the joints free. Not a great deal to report from this excursion. Might take a several to get “the eye” in form. As well as the animals, there were several egg spirals that kept interest up. Many people out and about and picnicking on the headland park. Secured the last parking space.
