Dolabrifera dolabrifera (Rang, 1828)
The animal shown here may be Dolabrifera edmundsi Valdes et al, 2017 however that description gives no information about the foot/ventral aspect. The same paper states of D. dolabrifera: “Ventral side typically brown with numerous white, green or brown spots.” Images of foot required to confirm or reject D. dolabrifera. Current molecular sequencing of specimens from Eastern Australia have thus far matched with D. edmundsi only. (Nimbs – unpublished data & pers. comm.)
