Avaldesia albomacula (Chan & Gosliner, 2007)
Previously known on this site as Thordisa albomacula. Transferred to newly raised genus, Avaldesia, by Donohoo & Gosliner, 2024. (Change effected January 2025.)
Mantle colour variable – red-brown, dark-brown or grey but always with lineal white patch just anterior to gill. Mantle margin with interrupted white line. Mantle textured and with scattered filamentous papillae. Gill & rhinophores much lighter in colour.
