This species is similar to our Noalda sp. 02, except that it does not possess any of the yellow spots/patches, yellow border to the headshield and parapodia, yellow tip to the posterior lobe of the headshield or yellow-edged supporting bridge to posterior lobe of the headshield, of that species. The lack of yellow colouration cannot be considered a juvenile condition as smaller specimens of Noalda sp. 02 have been recorded with the full array of yellow colouration.
